As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Sales Controlling Manager (m/f/d) to lead our commercial controlling function and drive business partnership.
You will be a strategic leader responsible for analysing, steering, and optimizing our sales activities in different countries. Your role is multifaceted, encompassing financial analysis, business strategy, and performance transparency. Reporting directly to the Head of Controlling and leading a team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial success.
YOUR TASKS
Strategic Sales Analysis and Optimization:
- Collaborate closely with our sales team, by continuously analysing revenue drivers, cost factors, market trends, and competitive dynamics
- Coordinate the planning, budgeting, and ongoing forecasting processes
- Identify opportunities and risks, translating insights into actionable recommendations for sustainable growth
Performance Transparency and Reporting:
- Provide comprehensive and timely reporting, ensuring transparency and empowering decision-makers with accurate data-driven insights
Top Key Account Negotiations:
- Prepare and support commercial negotiations, creating profitable and strong relations with key accounts in the Italian food retail sector
Strategic Business Partnership:
- Collaborate on sales-related projects
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies aligned with overall company goals
People management:
- Provide structure and guidance
- Open communication, conflict management contributes to a pleasant work atmosphere
- Employee development: support employees’ growth, foster their potential and ensure their development
Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance departments, aiming to optimize the business processes
Controlling Excellence:
- Independently drive the evolution and expansion of our controlling tools, processes and methods
- Set and maintain high performance standards within your area of responsibility
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of experience in controlling or sales within an internationally operating company, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Experience in people management
- Strong affinity for numbers, analytical thinking, process orientation, and a solid understanding of complex business contexts
- High initiative, assertiveness, proactive problem-solving skills, and results-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, collaborating effectively across departments
- Proficient in MS Office programs, SAP user knowledge and familiarity with BI tools are beneficial
- Fluent in Italian and English; German language skills are advantageous
