System Engineer – Diagnostics (m/f/d)

For our location in Bologna we are looking for a System Engineer – Diagnostics (m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the system architect of DC chargers’ diagnostic functions and utilities, both embedded and remote
- Define and validate the safe operation modes correspondent to possible diagnosed faults and issues
- Provide relevant requirements to SW department for the diagnostic functions & utilities implementation
- Monitor and improve the performance of the developed diagnostic tools on the chargers in the field
- Provide training and guidance on how to use the diagnostic tools in cross-functional teams
- Provide support and guidelines for diagnosing and resolving functional issues in a timely manner
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable course of studies
- Experience with subsystem decomposition and system integration of complex electronic devices
- Experience in diagnostic software development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++)
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and platforms (e.g. debuggers, vehicle diagnostic systems such as OBD, simulation tools).
Independent, structured and solution-oriented work approach as well as analytical thinking skills - Enthusiasm, teamwork and communication skills
- Fluent English, Italian and/or German knowledge is an advantage
