Backend and Database Developer (f/m/d)

Our globally active company with locations in Italy, Germany and the USA is involved in the development and production of hydrogen storage systems as well as systems for the production, supply and use of hydrogen.

What awaits you

• Responsible for the database architecture, interface design, and data quality.
• Design and maintain database systems and application interfaces for our hydrogen systems.
• Create data pipelines and ETL jobs.
• Support for the development of new data-driven business models.
• Modulating the systems according to customer requirements

What we expect

• Attained degree in computer science, informatics, or related discipline.
• Proficient in working with relational databases and SQL (e. g. PostgreSQL).
• Good knowledge of Java and Python.
• Familiarity with the design and development of REST interfaces.
• Optional: experience with Azure, Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka.
• Exposure to time series databases like TimeScaleDB, ksqlDB, etc. is a plus.
• Good understanding of business processes including interface design.
• Team player with analytical thinking.
