(Junior) Transport Coordinator – International Full Truck Load Forwarding (m/f/d)

To expand our agency business in Gorinchem (Netherlands) we are looking for a (Junior) Transport Coordinator – International Full Truck Load Forwarding (m/f/d).

Main responsibilites: 

• Planning, handling and monitoring of ongoing shipments
• Supervision and management of the relationsshop with clients and forwarding agents
• Monthly reporting on operational results
• Continious imprevement of service quality
• Coordination of the team’s activities and operational procedures
• Acquisition, registration and processing of transport orders
• Monitoring and coordination of the entire transport chain

Requirements:

• Ideally 1-2 years of professional experience in the international freight forwarding sector (FTL traffic)
• Affinity for numbers and cost awareness
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving competence
• A high degree of flexibillity and negotiating skills
• Independent and result-oriented working style
• Skilled in the use of all common EDP programs
• Fluent in Englisch, other foreign language skills are a plus
