Sustainability is a key pillar of our company’s strategy and is growing in importance within the logistics sector and we, as a company, have designed a roadmap for sustainability that will be implemented over a span of three years. To guide this process, we are hiring an Senior Expert for Sustainability (m/w/d)

Main Tasks:

  • Revision and update of the masterplan according to legislative framework, international standards, and best practices.
  • Management, delivery, and design of the annual sustainability report.
  • Development and implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives in line with functions development, company goals, and industry best practices.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of the company’s operations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key sustainability performance indicators, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Management of the sustainability metrics on ESG and development of corrective measures where not in line with expectations.
  • Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to sustainability in the transportation sector.
  • Leading employee training and awareness programs to promote sustainability practices within the organization in cooperation with functions and HR department.
  • Preparation and communication of regular reports on sustainability progress to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • Development of creative practice on engagement and involvement to design a common path of sustainability in the company.
  • Support of audit and assessment of customers where the sustainability topic is prevalent.
  • Internal coordination of the functions involved in the implementation of the sustainability master plan


  • Strong communication and team-building skills as well as the ability to facilitate dialogue, resolve conflicts, and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of social risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies.
  • Commitment to promoting social equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to identify and address social issues within the supply chain.
  • Experience in sustainability management and ESG pillars, with a focus on social sustainability and governance.
  • Familiarity with CSR reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB) and ability to develop ESG policies, set targets, and analyze results.
  • Proficiency in project management and implementation of sustainable initiatives.
  • Experience in conducting sustainability audits and ESG risk assessments.
  • Skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to sustainability.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and international standards for social sustainability and corporate governance.
  • Language proficiency in English. Italian and German are a plus.
