Senior Backend Developer (JavaScript / Node.js) (m/f/d)

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Backend Developer with a primary focus on JavaScript / Node.js to join our high-performing team.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing complex software solutions, be involved in architectural high-level strategic decisions, participate in code reviews, and mentor other team members.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain best-in-class Node.js applications

• Participate in the whole lifecycle of the product – design, documentation, coding, testing, and release

• Contribute to system-wide architecture discussions, and make architecture decisions collaboratively

• Consistently produce clean, efficient code based on specifications

• Revise, update, refactor, and debug code

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript

• Exceptional knowledge of asynchronous programming and its nuances

• Familiarity with other platform-level tools such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team

• Familiarity with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and UI/UX design

• Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills

• Good command of written and spoken English.
