We are looking for a Senior Claims Manager to strategically manage the end-to-end claims process towards both suppliers and customers. The role is responsible for autonomously handling complex and high-impact claim projects across commercial, technical, and legal dimensions. The objective of this position is to minimize financial losses arising from claims, directly contributing to the company’s financial performance and risk mitigation strategy. In addition, the role will play a key part in developing and standardizing global claim management processes across the organization.
Full end-to-end ownership of claim cases, including execution, monitoring, reporting, and follow-up
Management of multiple and criticality claims involving both customers and suppliers
Handling and documentation of all claim-related communication and records with internal and external stakeholders
Cross-functional coordination with R&D, Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Legal, Customers, Suppliers, external lawyers, and insurance companies
Negotiation lead and result responsibility for high-exposure and financially relevant claims
Definition and execution of negotiation strategies with external parties
Ongoing follow-up of external communication, ensuring deadline adherence, escalation, and risk control
Regular reporting of claim status and financial impact to senior management and to C-level
Acting as a senior advisor to Management and C-Level for strategically relevant and complex claim-related decisions
Contribution to the development and standardization of global claim management processes
Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or similar, with solid technical understanding
Several years of experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Liability Law, Contract Law, Product Compliance, and Conformity of Product
Experience working in international companies and managing global business relationships
Fluency in English and Italian; German is a plus
Structured and strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including at senior stakeholder level
Ability to understand and manage complex, cross-functional technical and commercial topics
Solution-oriented, proactive, and strong in problem resolution

Total compensation: € 65.000-€ 96.000 of which 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement
